Chinese proverb

  • Literally: The Dragon-King's temple is flooded.
  • Moral: You can be harmed by the things you control.
  • Explanation: The Dragon-King is a mystical creature that lives underwater and controls the natural bodies of water. People visit the dragon-king temple to placate him and prevent floods, thus this proverb is ironic situationally (Sometimes this proverb is used as '大水冲了龙王庙,一家人不认一家人' (...yi1 jia1 ren2 bu4 ren4 yi1 jia1 ren2 ...one+home+person+not+know+one+home+person), or, One family member doesn't recognize another family member. The idiom might be used to resolve an embarrassing situation. For example, someone has a conflict with a stranger, only to find the stranger was a neighbor, or a sister's boyfriend, or any other person with some relation. The two might use this idiom to save face and make peace with each other, comparing the conflict to that of the flooded dragon-king's temple (dragon-king: rain god in some sense).

In this small town

Night has come already
and all the lights are turned off;
In the small town everybody sleeps,
not knowing what the nre day will bring.
Lost souls keep pushing them away,
but lightened energy is stronger every day.
The stars are shining for all humans and flowers,
the moon is bigger and so round this time,
like it's trying the world to protect.
In the small town everybody sleeps,
only one little girl is still awake...
her eyes refuse to close for night,
waiting for the dream to come back.
Her dream is big and no one understands
why she keeps holding on in pain.
She's older now, older than her heart,
almost mature if i can say...
but her eyes cry and her soul dies.
tired of all lies and mistakes she made,
with a broken heart in her fragile chest,
she's letting everyone push her away,
hoping her pain will not remain.
Alone in her room, alone in the night,
she's living in this empty world...
Her universe forgot to spell her name,
letting her in the cold dark.
Time is falling and she keeps running,
trying not to freeze in her own world;
There's a new one waiting for her outside,
but she just can't find the door...
In this small town everybody sleeps,
Only one little girl is still awake.

Prayers with the nature

Butterflies are the witnesses
to my every night prayers.
The earth can feel my emotions
and every tree can kiss them.
The mountains are my brothers
and the flowers are my sisters.
The grass can feel my quaver
and the sky can hear my song.
Every day and every night
I hope they will come true;
every hour, every second
I think about my moon.

Dance

Dance with me today,
Dance with me tomorrow.
Give me my own crown
Filled up with your love.
Take my hand and make me
Go to the dance floor,
Put your hands around me
And make my body flirt.
Make your subtle move,
Take me to the moon,
Make my dreams come true
And keep the rest for you.
